The Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church will be available soon through the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. It is intended to be used as a resource for leaders of social ministry at the diocesan and parish level as well as those in religious education, school, and youth and young adult ministry. It is divided into five sections, an introduction, three parts, and a conclusion entitled "For a Civilization of Love." According to some reviewers, it is best used as a reference tool; not an easy read, but useful to have all the information in one place.
